![]() We hope that in less than 24 hours, together we will truly begin an epic journey! Yesterday’s loss of time and momentum due to Amazon’s over 4 hour outage hurt us but we still have enough time to make this happen with your support. Next up will be an updated chart and explanation of the FE/FP process. ![]() I will also open a copy of the DragonWhale tier. Estimated delivery of Internal Testing Access: January 2014. This tier will not be available after release. Additionally, this tier will come with an additional HERO FOREVER PLEDGE TIER because the STORMWATCH is a lonely job. Backers will be contacted based on when they pledged for Camelot Unchained and gave us their contact information. While we guarantee that you’ll have a plot somewhere in your server of choice (based on when you backed this game), not all plots are created equal. Your plot will remain your property as long as the game is operating, even if the account goes inactive. This plot and lighthouse will be SUBJECT TO ATTACK/DESTRUCTION but it will be rebuilt by the REALM at NO COST to the player. To ensure consistency with the game’s lore, no other structure can be built on your plot but the plot and the LIGHTHOUSE will be designed with the help of CSE to add walls and other protective features. $3500 - Along the StormWatch– DIGITAL ONLY = With this tier PLEDGE OWNER ONLY receives HOME WITH A VIEW rewards and THESE UPGRADES: a SMALL REALM-LOCKED PLOT in ONE REALM’S STORMWATCH (name subject to change) areas, your HWAV HOUSE will be upgraded to a lighthouse-like structure, and a TOTAL OF 500 FOUNDER’S POINTS. These tiers are:ġ) Living Large 2 - 25 new homes total, 40 extra FPs and to be fair to our LL backers, the tier will be priced at $1200 If you know someone is still sitting on that fence, see if you can convince them that this side is so much more fun! Let them know that they can join us as we work together to create the next great RvR MMORPG.Īt approximately 2PM EDT I will open up some new tiers based on backer demand (can I have my ducks back now?). While that may seem like a lot, it is less than 10% of our original ask and that percentage has been raised by all of the most successful game-based Kickstarters during their last 24 hours. The clock is really ticking now! We’ve got 24 hours to go and we’re still $152,000 away from our goal. Tomorrow will be a great day because I know that is the day that Camelot Unchained will truly begin its rise to glory. In the video you'll see the first of our concepts and models for both an Arthurian bard-like character and well, something completely different. While we will make it, the loss of those four hours and possible additional momentum (we had a promotion with XFire kicking off at the same time) hurts a bit, especially with the KS stretch goals.Īll that being said, the day ended well as our pledge totals starting rising again.įinally, it's fun time. I've been in touch with both Kickstarter and Amazon (as I suspect every other KS did) and we'll see if this leads anywhere. While they finally did come back online, it did set our campaign back a bit. During one of our busiest times and best runs of this campaign, the vast majority of backers weren't able to pledge for our, or any other, game on Kickstarter. Second, Amazon Payments' server farm that Kickstarter relies on decided to, like my MacBook yesterday, lose its mind. I am also overwhelmed by the dedication and effort made by some fans to help get our Kickstarter additional attention and for that they do have my thanks and gratitude. The passion and enthusiasm of our fans is admirable and heartwarming but it did apparently cross the line. I do also respect the right of individuals/companies to ask for coverage but not to the point of going overboard. My opinion on this hasn't changed I respect the right of any journalist/writer to cover what they want and when they want to. After some apologies from me (on behalf of them) and others (including our members and I respect that), things settled down after he followed up the Twitter comments with an article about them and CU. Let's have a recap of today's events:įirst, Penny Arcade Report's Ben Kuchera had some unkind things to say about some of our loyal, but slightly overzealous folks. From PA to KS to Amazon, it's been quite a ride. A quick update from Mark on the Kickstarter progess, the Amazon payment problems and some gaming sites (penny arcade) moaning about some backers email spamming them - they've stopped now.Īt the end of the video you'll see some concept art for a possible new race.
